This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and nurture relationships with financial advisors, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), banks, broker-dealers, nonprofits, and foundations.
• Introduce Donor Advised Fund, private foundation, and philanthropic advisory services to the market.
• Provide support to current clients while expanding a portfolio of business alongside senior sales leadership.
• Formulate, support, and implement sales strategies for the philanthropic technology platform.
• Create and oversee a prospect pipeline through proactive outreach, referral networks, and participation in conferences.
• Engage in consultative sales discussions, perform needs assessments, deliver product demonstrations, and assist with proposals.
• Collaborate with senior sales leadership to facilitate and finalize agreements with distribution partners and institutional clients.
• Achieve quarterly and annual activity metrics and revenue goals.
• Maintain ongoing communication with distribution partners and assigned accounts to foster engagement and retention.
• Understand client philanthropic objectives and provide continuous support as a subject matter expert.
• Conduct business reviews to monitor platform utilization and identify potential growth opportunities.
• Address client inquiries and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams.
• Collaborate with client success and product teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for clients.
• Deliver presentations, webinars, and training sessions on philanthropic giving options.
• Clearly communicate the value of services and technology across various use cases.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings.
• Attend and represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
• Work with marketing on sales enablement materials, case studies, and thought leadership publications.
• Maintain accurate records of the pipeline in CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Provide updates on the pipeline and market insights to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with product, technology, and compliance teams to communicate client needs and influence the product roadmap.
• Carry out other duties as assigned that align with the role.
• Over 5 years of experience in financial services sales, wholesaling, or a client-facing role in wealth management or philanthropy.
• Proven ability to meet activity targets and contribute to revenue growth.
• Experience in working with or selling to financial advisors, RIAs, broker-dealers, or nonprofit organizations.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial, tax, and estate planning concepts to diverse audiences.
• Self-driven with the capability to organize your own schedule and priorities in a remote setting.
• Willingness to travel nationally up to 30–40% of the time.
• Familiarity with philanthropic giving vehicles, such as Donor Advised Funds, private foundations, or philanthropic advisory services (preferred).
• Experience with philanthropic technology platforms, charitable giving solutions, or financial services wealth platforms (preferred).
• Knowledge of private foundation operations, grantmaking, or philanthropic advisory services (preferred).
• Existing connections within the RIA, broker-dealer, or community foundation sectors (preferred).
• Progress toward or interest in obtaining a CFP, CSPG, CAP®, or other financial planning or philanthropic certification (preferred).
• Experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, or foundation management (preferred).
• Must have a distraction-free home office or workspace.
• Must have a stable high-speed internet connection.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the position, including talking/hearing, using hands/fingers, standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and visual focus requirements.
