This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage and service products by overseeing existing accounts while also cultivating new prospects across diverse industries.
• Leverage expertise in organizational services, products, and marketing strategies to drive market share growth and meet operational objectives.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans for major accounts to enhance retention and membership growth.
• Discover new and additional product sales opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders of prospective clients.
• Oversee relationships with brokers, consultants, and other industry partners.
• Inform stakeholders about industry trends, pricing, and benefit design.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of existing and new products and services.
• Act as a liaison between departments and customers to ensure service expectations are fulfilled.
• Work alongside marketing and product development teams to address client needs and analyze market information.
• Utilize the sales automation system for inquiries, record-keeping, and report preparation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over four years of business-to-business sales and/or account management experience; prior experience in employee benefits or the Healthcare/Insurance industry is preferred.
• Results-oriented with outstanding planning and organizational capabilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Highly adaptable, positive, resilient, and patient risk-taker open to innovative ideas.
• Resourceful team player adept at fostering trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Creative problem-solver capable of generating effective solutions and addressing challenges.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple simultaneous projects.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to take initiative with limited supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledgeable about underwriting, products, services, and the healthcare sector.
• Must be willing to travel more than 50% of the time.
• Clean DMV record is required.
• Capability to achieve and uphold applicable agent licensing requirements for states within the designated sales territory.
• For remote or hybrid positions, maintain a high level of engagement in virtual settings, including keeping the camera on during meetings.
