This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Generate and cultivate new business opportunities, enhancing SPS’s market footprint in the southeastern region.
• Establish a self-sustained pipeline filled with qualified enterprise prospects.
• Oversee the sales process from initial prospecting to contract finalization and transition to implementation.
• Identify and connect with potential clients, fostering relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Diagnose workplace and business-process challenges, positioning SPS as a strategic partner through consultative, solution-oriented sales.
• Devise and implement territory and account strategies for enterprise organizations and key markets.
• Conduct research and prioritize target companies and named accounts.
• Build pipeline through cold calling, outbound emails, LinkedIn/social selling, networking, referrals, industry associations, conferences, events, and strategic partnerships.
• Perform account research, create named-account strategies, develop stakeholder maps, and identify purchasing triggers.
• Engage in discovery conversations, workshops, executive briefings, workplace assessments, solution presentations, demonstrations, and client meetings.
• Formulate value propositions and tailored solutions and proposals in collaboration with operations, solutions, technology, finance, pricing, legal, and leadership teams.
• Lead or assist in RFI/RFP responses, proposal creation, pricing discussions, presentations, negotiations, and commercial dialogues.
• Create opportunity action plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and closing strategies.
• Enhance market presence by collaborating with marketing and sales leadership on account-based marketing and demand generation efforts.
• Track market conditions, industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging client demands.
• Manage opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle.
• Maintain precise CRM records, pipeline forecasts, and sales reporting.
• Collaborate with senior sales, operations, solutions, finance, legal, technology, implementation, and client success teams.
• Ensure a smooth transition of secured business to implementation and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 4–7 years of professional experience in B2B sales, new-business development, sales development, lead generation, outside sales, inside sales, client development, managed-services sales, staffing sales, technology sales, payroll/HCM sales, business-process outsourcing sales, professional-services sales, hospitality sales, food-services sales, transaction-services sales, fintech/payments sales, or another relevant client-facing role.
• Proven success in generating new business through cold calling, outbound prospecting, cold emailing, LinkedIn/social selling, executive networking, referrals, conferences, trade shows, industry events, strategic partnerships, and account-based marketing initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to convert self-initiated outreach into discovery meetings, qualified pipeline, proposal opportunities, RFP/RFI invitations, and new-client or new-logo business.
• Experience in creating, managing, and executing named-account strategies and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Ability to research companies, identify purchasing triggers, map stakeholders, develop a value hypothesis, personalize outreach, and conduct effective initial discovery conversations.
• Capability to communicate effectively with senior operational leaders, procurement stakeholders, HR executives, technology leaders, legal-operations contacts, and C-suite executives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with active listening, presentation, meeting facilitation, relationship-building, and follow-up capabilities.
• Commercial curiosity and enthusiasm for consultative enterprise solution sales.
• Ability to work towards quantifiable activity, pipeline, meeting, opportunity, and revenue targets.
• Strong organizational discipline and competence in managing outreach schedules, account research, follow-up tasks, CRM activities, stakeholder maps, and opportunity plans.
• Technological fluency and readiness to learn about workplace services, business process outsourcing, digital transformation, automation, AI-enabled services, workplace platforms, and enterprise workflow solutions.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Oracle, Apollo, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or a comparable CRM system.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, presentation software, spreadsheets, and virtual meeting platforms.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for operating computers, phones, printers, and other office equipment.
• Capacity to occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to communicate via phone and utilize computer systems simultaneously.
