This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Promote the Shield™ colorectal cancer blood test to primary care healthcare providers.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets through prospecting, relationship-building, and implementation of national sales strategies.
• Establish provider relationships and secure their commitment to adopt Shield for colorectal cancer and other cancers.
• Utilize challenger selling techniques to comprehend provider needs and demonstrate how Guardant Health solutions enhance patient outcomes and optimize practices.
• Educate and train primary care practices on product knowledge and the integration of Shield workflow.
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing, product, and sales leadership teams.
• Identify new business opportunities within the designated territory.
• Foster partnerships with regional and local laboratories and secure phlebotomy draw agreements.
• Develop and implement business plans to support the launch of new cancer screening technologies.
• Analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback.
• Share customer insights and opportunities with the Commercial Team.
• Provide premium customer service and proactively address issues throughout the sales process.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulations while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• A minimum of 4 years of customer-facing sales experience in the healthcare sector (diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sales), or at least 2 years of customer-facing healthcare sales experience combined with direct clinical experience in a patient care setting as a registered nurse or physician assistant.
• A proven history of sales success and a strong drive for achievement.
• Demonstrated capability to engage in selling discussions, overcome objections, and align client needs with product offerings.
• A solid understanding of the healthcare provider landscape and the ability to swiftly learn and apply technical product knowledge.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Veeva, or similar platforms.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory and occasionally nationally for sales meetings.
• Curiosity, sound judgment, and the ability to critically assess and responsibly utilize AI-enabled tools in compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Capability to sit for extended periods.
• Background screening, including criminal history, is mandatory.
