This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Present and promote Merit products to both new and existing clients.
• Follow up with customers to ensure that delivered products fulfill their requirements.
• Conduct in-service presentations for clinicians, detailing new products and their applications.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and monitor their satisfaction levels.
• Identify potential clients and opportunities to enhance satisfaction, boost sales volume, and increase profitability.
• Create tailored drawings for clients requesting custom kits or manifolds.
• Prepare and submit pricing contracts for approval.
• Address any manufacturing or delivery issues faced by clients.
• Collaborate with Merit marketing and sales teams to guarantee timely delivery of the correct products in the necessary quantities.
• Provide customer insights regarding product needs and potential innovations.
• Make product pricing decisions within authorized limits.
• Compile monthly reports summarizing sales outcomes, client contacts, product change requirements, and suggestions for procedural enhancements.
• Participate in sales training and strategic planning meetings.
• Stay informed about Merit and competing products.
• Set and accomplish personal sales performance objectives.
• Identify opportunities to increase market share, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Travel by car, airplane, bus, etc., to fulfill sales responsibilities with clients.
• Perform additional sales-related tasks as necessary.
• Education and/or experience equivalent to a related Bachelor's Degree.
• At least three years of direct sales experience, preferably in the medical product sector.
• Strong communication skills to effectively understand and address the needs of others in a sales context.
• High level of personal motivation and ambition to meet personal and professional objectives.
• Exceptional oral presentation abilities and quick thinking to analyze problems and convey solutions to groups of medical technicians and clinicians.
• Capability to learn the usage of medical equipment and identify potential improvements in its application.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve organizational goals.
• Proficiency in business mathematics for calculating percentages and preparing financial and sales information.
• Strong personal organization skills, including the ability to document and report information accurately.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work extended hours as necessary to achieve objectives.
• Excellent driving record, with no accidents in the past three years or no more than one traffic violation in the last three years.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency, particularly in spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other relevant software applications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., in accordance with local practices.
• Multiple shifts and hours available: Days, Swing (Evening), and Nights.
