This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Identify and evaluate qualified leads, create innovative outreach strategies, and maintain a well-structured sales pipeline.
• Perform cold calls and email outreach to potential clients, scheduling qualified meetings for the Sales Lead to finalize deals.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance client satisfaction and pinpoint upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to ensure seamless client onboarding and effective account management.
• Recognize opportunities for renewals, upsells, and new business from existing clients.
• Contribute to the formulation of sales tactics and strategies.
• Engage in cross-functional initiatives aimed at driving growth.
• Lead the sales process from qualifying leads to negotiating contracts and closing sales.
• Work in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to achieve sales objectives and foster long-term client relationships.
• Connect with clinical researchers and strategically present OpenClinica's recruitment offerings to researchers and universities across the nation.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or account management.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
• A strong passion for sales and a desire to understand the sales process, products, and industry.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to customize messaging for various audiences.
• Keen attention to detail and capability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain long-term client relationships.
• Proficiency in CRM software like Salesforce or HubSpot, Microsoft Office, and communication platforms such as Zoom and Slack.
• Ability to adapt to client needs and effectively troubleshoot issues.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.
• Proactive and responsible, with the ability to function both independently and as part of a team.
