This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Oversee, enhance, and expand CooperVision’s Myopia product line with both existing and prospective clients.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets for the designated territory.
• Foster professional sales connections using a consultative sales approach.
• Execute daily in-person and virtual client meetings while seeking new business opportunities.
• Exhibit expertise in the MiSight and Paragon CRT product lines to increase market share.
• Utilize sales, marketing, and educational resources to encourage practitioner adoption.
• Apply knowledge of the industry, competitors, and product portfolio to fulfill customer requirements.
• Develop and implement an efficient call cycle and territory business strategy.
• Evaluate key performance indicators and adjust growth strategies as necessary.
• Address customer inquiries within 24 hours.
• Educate and onboard customers with CooperVision Myopia technology and additional value-added offerings.
• Attend state, regional, and national optical events upon request.
• Timely submission of CRM call reports, expense accounts, territory evaluations, and other administrative documents.
• Collaborate with various departments to create practice-management tools and resources for eye-care professionals.
• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.
• At least 3 years of sales experience with proven success.
• Required experience in medical device or contact lens sales.
• Familiarity with the contact lens and optical sector is highly advantageous.
• A bachelor’s degree is required, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• NCLE, CLSA, ABO, COA, or COT certification is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Daily use of CRM systems for tracking customer interactions and analyzing product, account sales, and territory development.
• Strong organizational skills and effective territory management capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt to evolving situations.
• Above-average skills in verbal communication, writing, and reading.
• Competence in collaborating with other departments.
• Proficiency in planning and delivering presentations for customer groups.
• Proven knowledge of the contact lens market and CooperVision Myopia product range.
• Must be eligible to work permanently in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Must live in the designated territory or within about 20 miles of the territory boundary.
• Willingness to travel overnight within the territory up to 50% of the time.
• Availability to attend optical events, including weekends, when required.
• Remote position with a home office setting.
