
Account Executive – Myopia

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets set by management for the designated territory
• Showcase expertise in the CooperVision Myopia portfolio, including MiSight and Paragon CRT, to enhance market share
• Utilize sales, marketing, and educational resources to foster acceptance among practitioners
• Apply knowledge of the industry, competition, and product portfolio to fulfill customer requirements
• Comprehend customer needs, priorities, and practice dynamics
• Develop and implement a strategic call cycle and territory business plan
• Assess key metrics and adjust the growth strategy as necessary
• Address customer inquiries within a 24-hour timeframe
• Integrate and instruct customers on CooperVision Myopia technology and value-added offerings
• Engage in state, regional, and national optical exhibitions, including weekends if requested
• Timely submission of CRM call reports, expense reports, territory assessments, and other administrative documentation
• Work collaboratively with departments to develop practice-management tools and materials for eye-care professionals
• Conduct daily in-person and virtual client interactions while prospecting for new business opportunities
• Jointly strategize business activities and collaborate with colleagues
• Travel overnight within the territory, up to 50% of the time
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success
• Experience in medical device or contact lens sales is essential
• Familiarity with the contact lens and optical industry is highly advantageous
• A bachelor’s degree is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• NCLE, CLSA, ABO, COA, or COT certification is preferred
• A valid driver's license is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Daily use of CRM for tracking customer interactions and analyzing products, account sales, and territory growth
• Strong organizational skills and effective territory management
• Ability to adapt to evolving work environments and situations
• Capability to work independently
• Above-average verbal, written, and reading communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with other departments
• Competence in planning and delivering internal and external presentations
• Demonstrated knowledge of the contact lens market and the CooperVision Myopia product line
• Must reside within the assigned territory or approximately 20 miles from the territory radius; candidates from the Boston area are preferred
