This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote the complete range of Molecular products to healthcare institutions, including hospitals, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), reference laboratories, and women's health facilities.
• Accelerate territory expansion by acquiring new clients and enhancing existing relationships.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to facilitate complex decision-making and achieve swift results.
• Discover and nurture new business prospects throughout the territory.
• Establish and implement best practices leveraging customer insights.
• Effectively prioritize and strategize to optimize business operations.
• Utilize cross-functional teams and resources in a cooperative setting.
• Foster trust and long-lasting customer relationships by comprehending needs and delivering mutually beneficial solutions.
• Anticipate potential sales deficiencies and devise contingency strategies.
• Oversee intricate, long-term capital sales processes.
• Grasp client objectives across laboratory, procurement, medical leadership, clinical engineering, and C-suite stakeholders.
• Assess the impact of Abbott solutions.
• Partner with the Enterprise Account Manager to secure business from large hospital systems.
• Manage and drive renewals for non-enterprise accounts to ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction.
• Travel across the designated territory and other U.S. locations as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in capital sales and/or environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven track record of developing and selling tailored solutions to senior-level/C-suite executives.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sales, including surpassing targets and revitalizing underperforming territories.
• Skills in innovation and change management.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Proficient in Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% within the assigned territory and other U.S. locations.
• Preferred: Sales experience in diagnostics or laboratory settings, particularly in capital equipment sales.
• Ability to acquire technical and scientific knowledge and apply it in sales scenarios.
