This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote the complete range of Molecular products to healthcare institutions, including hospitals, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), reference laboratories, and women’s health clinics.
• Propel significant territory expansion by securing new accounts and enhancing existing business relationships.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to facilitate intricate decisions and obtain rapid results.
• Discover and nurture new business prospects throughout Northern California.
• Establish and implement best practices utilizing customer insights.
• Effectively prioritize and strategize to optimize business operations.
• Utilize cross-functional teams and resources within a cooperative setting.
• Foster long-lasting customer partnerships and provide mutually beneficial solutions.
• Anticipate potential sales deficiencies and enact contingency measures.
• Oversee complex, prolonged capital sales cycles.
• Comprehend client objectives across laboratory, procurement, medical direction, clinical engineering, and C-suite stakeholders.
• Evaluate the influence of Abbott solutions.
• Partner with the Enterprise Account Manager to secure business within major hospital systems.
• Manage and facilitate renewals for non-enterprise accounts to guarantee customer retention and satisfaction.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 4 years of relevant experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% within the designated territory and to other locations in the US.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sales, including surpassing targets and revitalizing underperforming territories.
• Skills in innovation and change management.
• Strong business planning capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experienced with Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Preferred: Sales experience within diagnostics or laboratory sectors.
• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in capital equipment sales.
• Preferred: Experience in capital sales and/or multi-stakeholder environments.
• Preferred: Experience in developing and selling tailored solutions to senior-level/C-suite executives.
• Capability to learn technical and scientific information and apply it in sales scenarios.
