This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote the complete range of Molecular products to healthcare institutions, including hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), reference laboratories, and women’s health clinics.
• Accelerate territory growth by securing new business opportunities and enhancing existing client relationships.
• Engage with various stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to facilitate complex decision-making and achieve swift results.
• Discover and nurture new business prospects throughout the territory.
• Create and implement best practices grounded in customer insights.
• Effectively prioritize and plan to optimize business operations.
• Utilize cross-functional teams and resources collaboratively.
• Establish trust and long-lasting customer partnerships by comprehending their needs and providing mutually beneficial solutions.
• Predict sales deficits and develop contingency strategies through effective troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Oversee intricate, long-term capital sales cycles.
• Grasp client objectives across laboratory, procurement, medical direction, clinical engineering, and C-suite stakeholders, quantifying the impact of Abbott solutions.
• Partner with the Enterprise Account Manager to secure contracts within large hospital networks.
• Manage and facilitate contract renewals to ensure retention and satisfaction for non-enterprise accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4+ years of pertinent experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% within the designated territory and to other US locations as needed for business purposes.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sales, including surpassing targets and revitalizing underperforming territories.
• Skills in innovation and change management.
• Strong capabilities in business planning and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM.
• Preferred: Sales experience in diagnostics or laboratory settings.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in capital equipment sales.
• Preferred: Background in capital sales and/or experience in multi-stakeholder environments, developing and selling tailored solutions to senior-level/C-suite executives.
• Capacity to acquire technical and scientific knowledge and apply it in sales scenarios.
