This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote the complete range of Molecular products to healthcare institutions, such as hospitals, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), reference laboratories, and women's health practices.
• Propel significant growth in the territory by securing new business and enhancing existing accounts.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to accelerate complex decision-making and achieve swift results.
• Discover and nurture new business prospects throughout Northern California.
• Formulate and implement best practices based on customer insights.
• Effectively prioritize and strategize to optimize business operations.
• Utilize cross-functional teams and resources in a cooperative setting.
• Establish trust and lasting customer relationships by addressing needs and delivering mutually beneficial solutions.
• Anticipate potential sales deficits and execute contingency strategies through effective troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Oversee intricate, long-term capital sales processes.
• Comprehend client objectives across laboratory, procurement, clinical leadership, clinical engineering, and C-suite stakeholders, quantifying the impact of Abbott solutions.
• Work alongside the Enterprise Account Manager to secure business within major hospital systems.
• Manage and drive contract renewals for non-enterprise accounts to maintain customer satisfaction and retention.
• Travel throughout the designated territory and to other locations in the US when necessary.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 4 years of relevant experience.
• Background in capital sales and/or multi-stakeholder environments.
• Experience in developing and selling tailored solutions to senior-level/C-suite executives.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sales, including surpassing targets and revitalizing underperforming territories.
• Skills in innovation and change management.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% within the assigned territory and to other US locations.
• Preferred: experience in diagnostics or laboratory sales, particularly in capital equipment.
