This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Serve as a field sales professional covering the North Florida region for Abbott’s Molecular Diagnostic Division.
• Market the complete range of Molecular products to healthcare establishments, such as hospitals, IDNs, reference laboratories, and women’s health clinics.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to facilitate complex decisions and achieve rapid successes.
• Discover and nurture new business opportunities to enhance market share growth.
• Create and implement best practices based on customer insights.
• Effectively prioritize and plan to optimize business operations.
• Utilize cross-functional teams and resources in a cooperative environment.
• Establish trust and foster long-term customer relationships by comprehending their needs and providing mutually beneficial solutions.
• Anticipate potential sales deficits and execute contingency plans through effective troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Oversee complex, long-term capital sales cycles.
• Understand client objectives across laboratory, procurement, medical director, clinical engineering, and C-suite stakeholders, while quantifying the impact of Abbott solutions.
• Partner with the Enterprise Account Manager to secure business within large hospital systems.
• Manage and drive renewals for non-enterprise accounts to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
• Travel up to 75–80% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of 4 years of sales experience.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sales, including surpassing targets and revitalizing underperforming territories.
• Strong business planning skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experienced with the SalesForce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Candidates must reside within the territory.
• Preferably, have convenient access to a major metropolitan airport.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: 2 or more years of experience in capital sales and/or multi-stakeholder environments.
• Preferred: Experience in developing and marketing customized solutions to senior-level/C-suite executives.
• Preferred: Sales experience in diagnostics or laboratory settings.
