This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Serves as an agent for Producer assigned accounts, engaging in both servicing and solicitation activities.
• Oversees a book of business while leading a service team in their efforts.
• Manages all required client services and nurtures client relationships with minimal intervention from Producers.
• Directs the service team's efforts in managing a mid-market book of business.
• Obtains and cultivates new business leads from Producers or identifies and develops opportunities for cross-selling.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for clients from the initial lead stage.
• Functions as the principal representative for an assigned book of business.
• Engages in team selling initiatives, which include finalist interviews and responses to RFPs.
• Prepares and delivers renewal analysis presentations to clients.
• Sells renewal business to current clients and, when appropriate, offers additional lines of coverage.
• Promotes other agency services through the creation of Producer Service Proposals.
• Provides analysis and recommendations regarding clients' current coverages.
• Selects carriers for solicitation and negotiates with them on benefits and premium considerations.
• Addresses client inquiries, including questions and issues related to benefits and claims.
• Reviews client coverage contracts and amendments to ensure accuracy.
• Manages and negotiates relationships and contracts with third-party vendors on behalf of the client.
• Leads a dedicated service team.
• Acts as a technical expert, assisting team members in resolving complex issues.
• Identifies new sales opportunities for clients.
• Collects fees and reconciles outstanding balances, resolving them within 60 days of the invoicing date.
• Adheres to agency management system data standards and data integrity requirements.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight (8) or more years of relevant work experience.
• Valid Insurance License required.
• Must consistently meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Capability to collaborate effectively within a team environment to promote teamwork.
