This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Serves as an agent for Producer assigned accounts, engaging in servicing and/or solicitation activities.
• Oversees a book of business while directing a service team in their tasks.
• Manages all client-required services and sustains client relationships with minimal assistance from Producers.
• Handles a substantial book of business by guiding employees on the service team.
• Receives and cultivates new business leads from Producers or identifies and develops opportunities for cross-selling.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for clients from the initial lead stage.
• Functions as the lead representative for an assigned book of business.
• Participates in the team selling process, including finalist interviews and responses to RFPs.
• Prepares and presents renewal analyses to clients.
• Sells renewal business to current clients and, when applicable, offers additional lines of coverage.
• Promotes other agency services through Producer Service Proposals.
• Provides analysis and recommendations regarding clients' existing coverages.
• Selects carriers for solicitation and negotiates with them concerning benefits and premium considerations.
• Addresses client inquiries, including questions and issues related to benefits and claims.
• Reviews client coverage contracts and amendments for accuracy.
• Manages and negotiates relationships and contracts with third-party vendors on behalf of clients.
• Leads a dedicated service team.
• Acts as a technical expert, assisting department members with complex issues.
• Offers mentoring and coaching to departmental staff.
• Identifies new client sales opportunities.
• Develops motivational action plans for personnel development with defined performance goals.
• Collects fees and reconciles/resolves outstanding balances within 60 days of invoicing.
• Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity requirements.
• Performs duties in alignment with company policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Executes other assigned duties.
• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and experience equivalent to that level.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience.
• Must fulfill Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
• Possession of a valid Insurance License.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
