
Account Executive – FSI, Space & Missile Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Take ownership and implement a targeted account and partner strategy within the Space & Missile Defense sector.
• Develop revenue-generating partnerships with major prime contractors, specialized suppliers, integrators, and emerging defense-technology firms.
• Identify new opportunities while maintaining account plans, managing deal stages, next actions, and ensuring forecast accuracy.
• Position Virtualitics within internal AI, analytics, engineering, program, production, supply-chain, and delivery workflows.
• Participate in U.S. Government initiatives and include Virtualitics in proposals, architectural designs, contract vehicles, and funded programs.
• Collaborate to create repeatable mission offerings that combine Virtualitics software with partner expertise, integration, platform, and delivery capabilities.
• Establish embedded and OEM licensing agreements.
• Recognize exportable opportunities with U.S. prime contractors and eligible allied clients, navigating the FMS case lifecycle.
• Convert partner and government requirements into AI opportunities that enhance mission readiness, program intelligence, supply-chain visibility, portfolio decision support, test analytics, and front-line maintenance.
• Build relationships across executive, business development, capture, program delivery, technical, security, contracts, international, and FMS organizations.
• Coordinate solutions engineering, customer success, marketing, product management, contracts, capture efforts, executive advisors, and FMS/export specialists.
• Establish ecosystem credibility, assess the initial account portfolio, build a pipeline, and achieve or surpass annual quotas.
• Over 7 years of proven success in a quota-carrying Federal sales, strategic accounts, channel, alliances, or business development role.
• Established relationships and revenue-generating experience within the Space & Missile Defense market.
• Proficient in selling enterprise software, AI/ML, data analytics, decision intelligence, or other complex mission technology solutions.
• Proven track record in new business development, executive engagement, opportunity generation, multi-stakeholder qualification, negotiation, and closing sales.
• Familiarity with U.S. federal acquisition processes and FSI capture, including teaming agreements, NDAs, IRAD, RFIs/RFPs, IDIQs, OTAs, task orders, and partner commercial structures.
• Capable of articulating a complex technical and mission value proposition to executives, capture leaders, program teams, operators, and technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel 40–50% and work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Active security clearance and a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience (preferred).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (interim and/or final).
