This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Identify potential clients who can benefit from Facility Maintenance & Energy Management Solutions.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking events, and online platforms.
• Manage the complete sales process, which includes prospect targeting, solution identification, software demonstrations, negotiation, and closing.
• Track industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
• Provide updates to internal teams to assist in product development and marketing strategies.
• Identify and comprehend clients’ and prospects’ critical business needs, aligning them with MRI’s solutions and services.
• Create and execute strategic sales plans to uncover and capitalize on new opportunities.
• Manage contracting and basic sales negotiations.
• Formulate integrated sales strategies with other business units regarding shared opportunities.
• Submit forecasts, pipelines, funnels, business plans, sales metrics, and various reports.
• Monitor and assess competitor activities and products.
• Surpass assigned annual sales quotas.
• Execute other assigned duties and responsibilities.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in business products or services, managing a territory and/or client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in selling software and/or knowledge of Facility Maintenance & Energy Management is preferred.
• Ability to network effectively within the industry.
• Familiarity with products, software pricing practices, selling skills, personal computers, and various software applications is advantageous.
• Proven track record of closing new business consistently and exceeding sales targets.
• Capability to demonstrate software to potential users.
• Strong ability to develop effective marketing strategies.
• Excellent understanding of end-user business issues, or the ability to apply unrelated knowledge to the Real Estate Industry.
• Resilience in overcoming rejection to achieve results.
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems, including web technologies, CRM, employee self-service, and larger business system applications.
• Planning skills to establish and meet departmental objectives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver impactful presentations.
• Excellent time management, decision-making, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple high-level priorities.
