This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +2 more states.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities throughout Europe, with an emphasis on retailer-mandated programs, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and producers.
• Manage and enhance existing customer accounts using a consultative sales strategy and maintain regular engagement with clients.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations and discussions regarding contracts.
• Create and implement territory sales plans aimed at achieving revenue and growth objectives.
• Keep an accurate sales pipeline and deliver consistent forecasts and business updates.
• Track market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
• Represent Copeland Cargo Solutions at industry events, trade exhibitions, and client meetings.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven track record in business development, account management, or sales within cold chain logistics, transportation, supply chain, food industry, or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities successfully.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiations.
• Experience with temperature-sensitive, perishable, or high-value products.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, international setting.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%-50% across Europe, depending on location.
• Preferred: experience in selling cold chain monitoring, IoT, visibility, logistics technology, or supply chain solutions.
• Preferred: understanding of retailer compliance programs, food safety mandates, and best practices in cold chain management.
• Preferred: experience with retailers, 3PLs, food producers, pharmaceutical companies, or cargo operators.
• Preferred: knowledge of additional European languages.
• Preferred: experience within a multinational or matrix organization.
• Preferred: robust understanding of international logistics processes and supply chain operations.
• Preferred: ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders across various countries and cultures.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the application is submitted; sponsorship or work authorization will not be provided.
