This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
β’ Propel sales of Nokia and related data and network technologies within Tier 2 and Tier 3 Utility and Service Provider sectors.
β’ Formulate and implement account and sales strategies to optimize revenue growth, enhance profitability, and foster customer loyalty.
β’ Identify, target, and pursue new customers and business opportunities.
β’ Establish and nurture relationships with customers, prospects, manufacturers, and business partners.
β’ Evaluate customer business and technical requirements and suggest suitable solutions.
β’ Oversee opportunities through the entire sales cycle, which includes prospecting, solution development, quoting, negotiation, and closing.
β’ Keep an accurate sales pipeline and deliver regular sales forecasts.
β’ Manage quotes, opportunities, and funnel activities to meet assigned sales objectives.
β’ Create strategic plans for addressing customer needs, competitive scenarios, and intricate business challenges.
β’ Observe market conditions, industry trends, customer demands, and competitive actions.
β’ Articulate product and solution features, advantages, and value propositions.
β’ Negotiate pricing and business terms within company policies while ensuring profitability.
β’ Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturer partners to guarantee successful customer outcomes.
β’ Maintain precise customer, opportunity, and activity information in the CRM system.
β’ Accurately and promptly complete proposals, quotes, contracts, and other sales documentation.
β’ Achieve or surpass assigned revenue, sales, and profitability goals.
β’ Travel 30%β70% within the designated territory.
β’ Perform physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing stairs, and occasionally handling equipment weighing up to 15 pounds.
β’ No direct reports.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in the Utility, Service Provider, telecommunications, networking, or technology fields.
β’ Proven experience in business-to-business solution selling and establishing new customer relationships.
β’ A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
β’ Excellent customer relationship, communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
β’ Capability to comprehend customer business needs and convert those needs into suitable solutions.
β’ Experience managing intricate sales opportunities from prospecting to closing.
β’ Strong skills in business development and prospecting.
β’ Familiarity with CRM systems for managing opportunities, activities, and the sales pipeline.
β’ Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to devise creative solutions for complex customer issues.
β’ Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, effectively prioritizing competing demands.
β’ Self-driven, results-oriented, and accountable for meeting assigned objectives.
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
β’ Preferred: experience in selling to Utility and Service Provider markets.
β’ Preferred: familiarity with Nokia products and solutions.
β’ Preferred: knowledge of data networking, wireless communications, telecommunications, or related technologies.
β’ Preferred: existing relationships within the Utility or Service Provider sector.
β’ Preferred: experience in selling complex technology solutions involving multiple stakeholders and extended sales cycles.
