This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Create and implement a territory business strategy in collaboration with sales leadership.
• Cultivate new and existing partnerships with churches through cold calling, networking, and consultative sales techniques.
• Identify and qualify new church accounts utilizing both inbound and outbound lead generation methods.
• Establish trust-based relationships with church stakeholders.
• Assist stakeholders in navigating Lifeway solutions that align with their ministry objectives.
• Oversee the complete sales process from initial contact to closing the deal.
• Achieve or surpass revenue goals.
• Provide monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts informed by pipeline data and business insights.
• Keep detailed records of sales activities, contacts, and opportunities within Salesforce.
• Track competitive and market trends, sharing valuable insights with sales leadership and colleagues.
• Offer constructive feedback on sales materials and internal processes.
• Embody Lifeway’s mission and values with a dedication to Kingdom work.
• Candidates must be residing in the assigned territory encompassing DC, MD, and VA.
• Willingness to engage in regular local and overnight travel within the designated territory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in selling value-oriented products or services.
• Proven skills in cold calling, with a history of establishing rapport and initiating significant conversations.
• Experience with both inbound and outbound lead generation approaches.
• Demonstrated success in outside or field sales, focusing on relationship building, closing deals, and surpassing targets.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills across various leadership levels.
• A consultative sales approach with the ability to evaluate needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Self-driven and goal-focused with a history of individual and team achievements.
• Active involvement in an evangelical Christian church.
• Prior experience with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.
• Proven success in acquiring new customers within a fast-paced, performance-driven sales environment.
• Familiarity with the local church landscape and ministry operations.
• A passion for the local church and mission-focused sales contexts.
