Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Accurately prepare and invoice all clients in a timely manner.

• Record and process monthly invoices for subcontractors.

• Import subcontractor time data for the billing of the delivery team.

• Manage payment batches both mid-month and at the end of the month.

• Document vendor bills for intercompany entities.

• Post payroll journal entries accurately.

• Calculate and record employee variable compensation.

• Compute and document accruals for employee loyalty bonuses.

• Calculate and log accruals for employee referral bonuses.

• Submit requests for employee referral eligibility.

• Write off variable compensation for employees who have terminated or resigned.

• Compute sales commissions and document the related journal entries.

• Reconcile bank accounts effectively.

• Conduct monthly reconciliation of credit card accounts.

• Prepare entries for GST/HST remittance.

• Submit cost allocation reports to Delivery Leaders.

• Compute and log journal entries for inter-departmental cross charges, intercompany charges, and any other necessary internal allocations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of pertinent accounting or finance experience.

• Familiarity with bank reconciliation, journal entries, and payroll accounting practices.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks independently.

• Effective communication skills across virtual teams.

• Experience within a services or consulting environment.

• Knowledge of Zoho Finance Suite or NetSuite.

• Understanding of multi-currency accounting and intercompany billing processes.

• Familiarity with project-based accounting and resource time tracking systems.
