This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Act as the primary strategic consultant and main point of contact for designated clients across various industries.
• Develop and nurture executive-level relationships while guiding clients through decisions related to risk management and insurance programs.
• Comprehend clients’ business models, operational hurdles, and long-term aspirations to foresee needs and deliver customized solutions.
• Lead the comprehensive renewal strategy, encompassing coverage analysis, exposure assessment, marketing direction, and negotiation of terms with carriers.
• Examine quotes and proposals for precision and alignment with client goals; provide recommendations and present renewal results.
• Ensure the prompt and precise processing of policy alterations, endorsements, invoicing, and audits in collaboration with the account management team.
• Supervise the integrity and completeness of client files within the EPIC agency management system.
• Ensure documentation adheres to regulatory, industry, and internal compliance requirements.
• Maintain accuracy and quality across all deliverables.
• Serve as an escalation point for intricate claims issues and work alongside claims adjusters to secure timely resolutions.
• Inform clients and internal teams about claim status, strategies, and subsequent steps.
• Recognize opportunities for account growth, cross-selling, and additional value-added services.
• Collaborate with producers, account managers, and technical specialists to provide seamless client service.
• Engage in internal meetings, training programs, and process enhancement initiatives to bolster team performance.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in account management, account executive, or client advisory positions within a brokerage or similar insurance environment.
• Demonstrated success in managing large or complex commercial accounts.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license (specific to US states).
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and client relationship capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
• Proficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Designations such as CIC, CISR, ARM, or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience with surplus lines placements is preferred.
