This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Act as the primary strategic consultant and main point of contact for designated clients across various sectors.
• Establish and nurture executive-level relationships while guiding clients through decisions related to risk management and insurance programs.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of clients’ business models, operational challenges, and long-term objectives to offer customized solutions.
• Lead the complete renewal strategy, which includes coverage analysis, exposure assessments, marketing direction, and negotiation of terms with carriers.
• Assess quotes and proposals for accuracy and alignment with client goals; provide recommendations and present renewal outcomes.
• Guarantee timely and precise processing of policy modifications, endorsements, invoicing, and audits in collaboration with the account management team.
• Oversee the integrity and completeness of client files within the EPIC agency management system.
• Ensure that documentation complies with regulatory, industry, and internal standards.
• Maintain accuracy and quality across all deliverables.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex claims issues and work with claims adjusters to achieve timely resolutions.
• Communicate claim status, strategy, and next steps to clients and internal teams.
• Recognize opportunities for account growth, cross-selling, and value-added services.
• Collaborate with producers, account managers, and technical specialists to provide seamless client service.
• Engage in internal meetings, training initiatives, and process enhancement efforts to bolster team performance.
• At least 5+ years of experience in account management, account executive, or client advisory positions within a brokerage or related insurance field.
• Demonstrated success in managing large or complex commercial accounts.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license (specific to the US state).
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and client relationship abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Keen attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Proficient in agency management systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Preferred designations include CIC, CISR, ARM, or equivalent.
• Experience with surplus lines placements is preferred.
