This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive the growth of new business and enhance revenue opportunities for the Court Reporting division.
• Actively seek out potential clients while nurturing and expanding an existing portfolio of business.
• Oversee and strengthen client relationships across key accounts throughout the entire account development cycle.
• Work collaboratively with local Account Managers, Sales Representatives, and Regional Managers across all service sectors.
• Secure new clients and enhance relationships with current attorney and law firm clients for deposition support services.
• Provide and conduct continuing legal education opportunities for attorneys.
• Identify promising client prospects through directories, contact lists, databases, leads, online resources, and personal networking.
• Maintain precise account and client information in the CRM, including account management, opportunity identification, and forecasting.
• Analyze and expand on market conditions and the discovery phase of litigation.
• Participate in industry-related events for networking and product knowledge enhancement.
• Uphold confidentiality concerning internal, external, and other pertinent matters.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets and objectives established by the EVP of Sales and Regional Manager.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as instructed by the EVP of Sales and Regional Manager.
• Allocate approximately 75% of time to client-facing activities and 25% to inside sales.
• Bachelor's degree in business management, administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of professional solutions-based outside sales experience in a fast-paced, multifaceted attorney services and/or legal environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven history of developing and implementing strategic business development action plans within a designated territory and generating SARG (same account revenue growth) from the existing client base by capitalizing on cross-selling opportunities and other best practices.
• Experience in qualifying new business by identifying and initiating contact with decision-makers and securing initial client meetings with qualified prospects.
• Proven ability to convert prospects into new clients and expand business with existing clients.
• Exceptional customer service and business solutions capabilities.
• Results-oriented, improvement-focused, action-driven self-starter capable of managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel within the designated territory and represent First Legal at social networking events.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (3 points or less).
• Valid auto insurance, verified quarterly.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
• Must reside in San Diego and work in the field 2-3 times per week.
