This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
• Oversee a portfolio of clients and products within the Spirits & Wine sector of Amcor’s Rigid Packaging Solutions North America Division
• Promote Closures, Bottles, and Specialties
• Sustain and expand the designated territory to boost growth and profitability for both customers and Amcor
• Cultivate business opportunities beyond existing accounts as part of a structured plan aligned with the Sales Director
• Formulate and implement strategic plans for organic growth, establishing a robust pipeline of active prospects
• Comprehend customer requirements, articulate the value of Amcor’s products and services, and pursue aligned opportunities
• Conduct regular performance evaluations with accounts
• Spearhead major business negotiations and influence decisions and actions
• Identify solutions to foster extensive account relationships at mid to senior levels across various customer functional areas
• Establish collaborative partnerships between Amcor and key accounts, including senior leadership, procurement, engineering, quality, operations, sales management, support teams, and Amcor contacts
• Oversee projects from inception through sales and delivery; ascertain and align necessary resources
• Coordinate with Executive Management, R&D, Marketing, and other departments to support accounts
• Represent the customer within Amcor by conveying customer needs, timelines, priorities, and insights
• Implement and uphold commercial processes, including maintaining the sales pipeline using company software
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent is required
• 3-5 years of sales experience in distribution, direct sales, or national accounts is essential
• Preference will be given to candidates with over 3 years of experience in the packaging industry or a related field
• Familiarity with the plastics category is preferred (injection molding, blow molding)
• A self-motivated individual with a results-driven attitude
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
• Capability to collaborate across functions to drive business solutions
• Strong focus on building relationships
• Proficient in computer and organizational skills
• Ability to grasp new products and technologies swiftly
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Robust negotiation and business acumen
• Preference for candidates residing in the Midwest, close to a major airport
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, despite the remote nature of the job
• Authorization to work in the United States is required, as verified by E-Verify employment authorization
