This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Promote Air Methods air medical services to designated customers within the sales territory.
• Meet the annual key performance indicators (KPIs) set by Air Methods.
• Identify and develop opportunities to offer value-added services.
• Provide insights on business prospects and competitive market trends.
• Formulate strategic business initiatives to expand existing accounts.
• Track market trends, competitor actions, changes in hospital service lines, billing rates, and types of aircraft.
• Manage customer service recovery efforts.
• Oversee daily patient transport activities and volume trends.
• Handle the ordering and distribution of marketing materials.
• Participate in conferences and regulatory meetings, and engage in local government activities.
• Align daily operations and Outreach Education programs with other Air Methods teams.
• Ensure that internal stakeholders are aware of business development strategies and have access to marketing resources and key messaging.
• Must reside within the designated region.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution, with three to five years of relevant aviation or medical transportation experience/training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Three to five years of sales experience required.
• Proven understanding of the healthcare and air medical sectors.
• Preferred experience in medical transportation services or healthcare business development/sales.
• High level of emotional intelligence.
• Self-motivated individual with a competitive mindset.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Strong critical thinking, reasoning, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
• Proficient in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Sales competencies including meeting sales objectives, closing deals, territory management, prospecting, negotiation, product knowledge, presentations, and client relationship management.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with mapping software.
• No specific certificates, licenses, or registrations required.
• Regular attendance is a key responsibility.
• Adherence to Air Methods employment practices and policies is mandatory.
• Competitive annual base salary ranging from $75,000 to $110,000.
• Performance-based commission structure.
• Anticipated annual variable earnings of $50,000 to $70,000 for standard performers.
