This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Manage the daily interactions with designated customer accounts, serving as the primary contact for treatment performance, service needs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Organize and conduct regular on-site and virtual account-service evaluations, documenting and following up on agreed-upon actions.
• Collaborate with plant operators, engineering teams, environmental staff, procurement stakeholders, and site leadership to grasp priorities, compliance risks, and business requirements.
• Evaluate industrial wastewater systems, operating metrics, and discharge performance to pinpoint root causes, process limitations, and areas for enhancement.
• Carry out or oversee jar testing, sampling, dose optimization, chemical trials, and treatment performance assessments.
• Enhance coagulation, flocculation, clarification, and solids-separation processes.
• Offer on-site and remote technical assistance for treatment, dosing, and application challenges.
• Educate customers on Cesco products, safe chemical handling, proper dosing, monitoring, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Inspect chemical storage, make-down, feed, pumping, control, and application equipment; coordinate repairs and specialist assistance.
• Develop service plans and performance metrics, monitor outcomes, and communicate any emerging risks.
• Draft service reports, trial reports, and account recommendations.
• Ensure account retention through reliable service and technically sound advice.
• Identify opportunities to expand Cesco programs within current accounts.
• Formulate account plans that integrate customer service, retention, and sales growth goals.
• Assist with selected new business opportunities through discovery, site surveys, water testing, trials, proposals, and account transitions.
• Cultivate relationships with plant and facility executives.
• Advocate for Cesco and Tidal Vision innovations that meet verified customer needs.
• Maintain CRM records, account plans, service activities, forecasts, opportunities, and gross-margin data.
• Collaborate with operations, laboratory, technical, equipment, and commercial teams.
• Travel regularly across the designated UK territory, typically around 50% of working hours, potentially more during trials and start-ups.
• Over 10 years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment, with significant hands-on responsibility for customer applications, process diagnosis, and treatment optimization.
• Practical technical understanding of wastewater treatment facilities, preferably involving high-organics effluent from food and beverage processing or a similar industrial sector.
• Proven experience managing customer accounts or delivering ongoing field technical support in water treatment, process chemicals, or a related field.
• Experience with coagulation, flocculation, clarification, and solids separation, including DAF or similar primary treatment processes.
• Background in conducting or supervising jar tests, chemical trials, sampling, dose optimization, and treatment performance reviews.
• Familiarity with chemical storage, dosing pumps, controls, and application equipment, including first-line troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret operational and laboratory data and provide clear, actionable written recommendations.
• Track record of building strong customer relationships, ensuring account satisfaction, and recognizing opportunities for account growth.
• Working knowledge of UK trade effluent consents, discharge compliance, COSHH requirements, and safe chemical-handling practices, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
• Full UK driving license.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays.
• Preferred: 5–10 years of experience in industrial water treatment chemicals, wastewater applications, or technical account management.
• Preferred: Direct experience with high-COD industrial wastewater accounts.
• Preferred: Experience with chitosan, biopolymers, metal-salt coagulants, organic coagulants, polymers, or related treatment chemistries.
• Preferred: Proven record of retaining and growing technically complex customer accounts.
• Preferred: Experience in introducing new chemistry or treatment methodologies through structured trials.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent professional experience in a relevant discipline.
• Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with experience using CRM systems.
• Valid UK driving license required at the time of appointment.
• Satisfactory references and verification of the right to work in the UK are required.

• Ability to function in operational industrial settings, navigate treatment plants, use stairs and access platforms, and wear appropriate PPE.
