This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Promote and enhance a high-quality academic experience for students.
β’ Ensure the courseroom environment is engaging and conducive to achieving program outcomes.
β’ Supervise the quality, rigor, relevance, currency, efficiency, effectiveness, and cohesion of the curriculum.
β’ Manage systems and processes for curriculum creation and delivery.
β’ Collaborate with faculty directors concerning discipline-specific content.
β’ Coordinate with various departments including Portfolio Strategy, Doctoral Affairs, Course Development, Center for Faculty Excellence, Faculty Hiring, HR, Accreditation and Institutional Effectiveness, and Learner Affairs.
β’ Lead the development and revision of academic offerings.
β’ Utilize analytics and evidence-based practices to foster ongoing quality improvement in learner success, teaching efficiency, engagement, academic quality, and curriculum development.
β’ Ensure that academic programmatic accreditation and/or licensure is achieved and sustained.
β’ Align academic offerings with professional trends and standards, seeking professional validation.
β’ Oversee curriculum development in accordance with external standards and university design principles.
β’ Supervise subject matter experts in course development and leadership.
β’ Direct specialized accreditation processes and self-assessments.
β’ Cultivate and maintain internal and external partnerships.
β’ Organize and optimize course offerings and scheduling.
β’ Supervise core faculty and conduct performance evaluations.
β’ Host faculty meetings centered on programs and curricula.
β’ Collaborate with the Faculty Director on faculty recruitment.
β’ Address programmatic issues faced by learners.
β’ Teach or mentor once a quarter.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in an accredited program or a related field.
β’ Online higher education teaching experience is mandatory.
β’ Proven leadership skills in academic or practitioner environments.
β’ Substantial supervisory and leadership experience with faculty, covering recruitment, retention, performance outcomes, and development.
β’ A doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DNP, or a related terminal degree) from an accredited institution is required.
β’ A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution is required.
β’ All degrees must be conferred by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
β’ Willingness to travel as necessary; must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
β’ Capable of lifting 25 lbs.
β’ Availability to work over 40 hours per week when business demands dictate.
β’ Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
β’ Knowledgeable in curriculum development, andragogy, and assessment.
β’ Familiarity with online teaching, competency-based education, and direct assessment.
β’ Strong understanding of the discipline.
β’ Ability to analyze program/course quality data and implement suggested improvements.
β’ Capacity to maintain program compliance with regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards.
β’ Familiar with program development and evaluation processes.
β’ Ability to advise on and assess learning effectiveness and educational quality.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
β’ Demonstrated involvement in the discipline, such as publishing, committee participation, or professional association activity, is preferred.
β’ Significant experience managing and collaborating with remote teams and within a matrix environment is preferred.
