This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver exceptional academic support to Sophia learners focusing on nutrition.
• Guide and mentor students with empathy, while upholding high academic expectations.
• Create written and video resources for remediation.
• Analyze data to pinpoint areas where students may be facing challenges.
• Reach out proactively to learners who are struggling and suggest targeted resources.
• Provide tutoring services to students both individually and in groups.
• Address student inquiries and requests for assistance promptly and thoroughly.
• Employ diverse teaching methods based on contemporary research and best practices.
• Oversee part-time tutors as necessary, ensuring adherence to consistent protocols and resource creation.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience teaching adult and/or nontraditional students at the college level is required.
• A master's degree in the relevant field, professional certification in the area of expertise, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Technologically adept; capable of producing video and written materials.
• Excellent information technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, online research, and data reporting tools.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to deliver high-quality, clear, constructive, and personalized feedback.
• Competence in managing multiple priorities, staying organized, and meeting deadlines.
• Applicants must possess authorization to work in the United States.

• Must have access to a remote work environment that ensures privacy, reliable internet connection, phone, computer, and video-conferencing capabilities.
• Capability to fulfill critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication requirements.
• Must be willing to work over 40 hours per week when business needs arise.
