This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the educational, administrative, and counseling activities of students.

• Ensure that educational programs align with state and local school board regulations.

• Research and apply non-K12 curriculum resources that fulfill state standards as required.

• Communicate the school’s mission and vision while fostering cooperative efforts among stakeholders.

• Utilize communication technologies to support a primarily virtual/remote work setting.

• Ensure that student needs are satisfied while adhering to special education and other categorical program laws.

• Collaborate with students, families, local Municipal Court systems, and local districts regarding attendance and engagement compliance.

• Formulate and oversee the execution of the school’s Student Achievement Improvement Plan.

• Supervise and assess teaching staff performance.

• Manage teacher performance and offer training opportunities for professional growth.

• Oversee Master and Lead Teachers and their respective programs.

• Consult with teachers, students, and parents regarding educational and behavioral concerns.

• Coordinate with teachers and K12 Enrollment concerning student expulsions and withdrawals.

• Directly supervise a team of 15–30 FTE regular employees and/or contractors.

• Conduct interviews, hiring, training, assigning tasks, directing, appraising, rewarding, disciplining, and resolving employee complaints.


⛳️ Requirements

• Valid state Department of Education Teaching or Administrative/Principal Licensure is required.

• Must reside in one of the 50 states or Washington, D.C.

• Prior supervisory experience is essential.

• A Master’s degree along with five (5) years of educational experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Capability to pass the necessary background check.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.).

• Competence in web navigation and usage.

• Willingness to travel 20% of the time for meetings, professional development, and other related activities.
