ABAP IS-U Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business needs and convert them into technical solution designs that adhere to customer development and architectural standards.

• Create, enhance, and refine SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications tailored for Meter2Cash business processes.

• Connect SAP backend systems through OData services and standardized interfaces.

• Build frontend components, user interfaces, and application logic utilizing JavaScript ES6+ and SAPUI5.

• Assist in the technical design of OData services and work closely with backend developers on data modeling and service provisioning.

• Review existing applications to identify and fix bugs, enhance performance, and implement technical improvements.

• Engage in code reviews to ensure adherence to development guidelines and quality standards.

• Facilitate the implementation and enhancement of CI/CD processes for automated application deployment.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and development teams on requirements gathering, prioritization, and implementation.

• Document development processes and technical concepts, ensuring effective handover of deliverables to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in SAPUI5 / SAP Fiori development.

• Familiarity with SAP architecture and data modeling.

• Proficient in OData services and interface development.

• Experience with Git and version control systems.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.

• Background in technical solution design and architectural principles.

• Basic understanding of ABAP and CDS Views.

• Experience in optimizing web application performance.

• Familiarity with code reviews and software quality standards.

• Understanding of data handling and data modeling.

• Experience in system integration and interface development.

• Knowledge of Release Management.

• Testing experience is essential.

• Configuration Management expertise.

• Understanding of security protocols.

• Experience in working with production environments.

• Proficiency in the English language.

• Development and automation experience with Python is a plus.

• Familiarity with SAP BTP is a plus.
