3PL Operations Manager, Bilingual – English/Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +36 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage daily interactions and performance metrics of North American 3PL partners.

• Facilitate regular cadence meetings and on-site Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to enhance performance and accountability.

• Act as the primary point of escalation for operational issues related to 3PL.

• Analyze open order reports and 3PL workflow dashboards to ensure dwell-time accuracy.

• Confirm that inbound orders are received, routed, and shipped accurately and punctually.

• Monitor exceptions and proactively address delays.

• Order pallets for inbound containers and communicate details regarding incoming shipments.

• Define, monitor, and report on fill rate, on-time shipping, dwell time, and accuracy metrics.

• Hold 3PL partners accountable for service levels and escalate any underperformance.

• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service on order stagnation, dwell-time challenges, and logistics escalations.

• Provide inventory status and fulfillment updates to internal stakeholders.

• Review 3PL invoices for accuracy before approving payments.

• Address billing discrepancies with 3PL billing teams.

• Identify operational gaps, create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain operations.

• Direct experience managing or collaborating with 3PL providers.

• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Experience in order management processes, including routing, carrier selection, and exception handling.

• Willingness to travel regularly across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

• Proficient in both Spanish and English.

• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience leading or participating in 3PL Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, including requirements gathering, vendor scoring, and selection is preferred.

• Experience in contract negotiations with 3PL providers, covering rate cards, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), penalties, and renewal terms is preferred.
