This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
• Oversee compliance with the 340B Program across all facets.
• Enforce relevant HRSA Office of Pharmacy Affairs directives alongside organizational policies and procedures.
• Perform audits of 340B-eligible facilities on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Record audit results and evaluate compliance regarding eligibility, diversion, and GPO prohibition.
• Analyze clinic-administered medications, mixed-use/340B-only areas, outpatient prescriptions, and pharmacy operations for adherence to standards.
• Supervise utilization records and accounts related to 340B purchases.
• Assess patient eligibility by reviewing medical records, insurance details, and hospital status.
• Support assigned external audits related to the 340B Program.
• Input and track data within 340B software systems and prepare raw data for uploads.
• Develop, enhance, and implement 340B audits.
• Communicate findings through appropriate channels to the 340B Program Manager and Analyst.
• Assist with special projects as directed by the 340B Program Manager and Analyst.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in pharmacy 340B is required.
• Experience in a progressive hospital or healthcare system pharmacy, healthcare auditing, or healthcare business is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Capable of quickly mastering technical systems such as EMR, retail pharmacy, and/or 340B software systems.
• Possess a strong knowledge base in healthcare systems.
• Ability to thrive in a multifaceted team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Demonstrated interest in advancing pharmacy practice.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with hospital and/or retail pharmacy workflows and operations is preferred.
• Previous experience in drug purchasing and/or wholesaling is advantageous.
• Prior work or training in 340B is desirable.
• Experience with auditing processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of hospital billing practices and regulations is beneficial.
• Experience with Microsoft Access is preferred.
• An associate degree in Business, Information Technology/Analytics, Pharmacy, or a related field is preferred.
• Completion of 340B University and possession of a National Pharmacy Technician License are preferred.
