1-on-1 Math Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver individualized support to students, reinforcing concepts learned in their long-term Think Academy math course.

• Assist students in navigating specific questions, completing homework, or addressing challenging subjects.

• Provide weekly availability and conduct sessions as students reserve them during open time slots.

• Engage in professional communication with students and parents regarding progress and areas needing improvement.

• Candidates must be based in the U.S. only.

• A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required.

• A strong foundation in mathematics is essential.

• Preferred majors include Math, STEM-related fields, or Education.

• A genuine passion for teaching and fostering student development is necessary.

• Excellent communication skills are a must.

• Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or classroom teaching is advantageous.

• A background in math competitions (e.g., AMC, Math Kangaroo) is a plus.
