1 on 1 AMC Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide individualized online math tutoring sessions concentrating on AMC 8 and AMC 10 competition preparation.

• Instruct in English utilizing interactive and problem-solving methodologies.

• Assist students in navigating competition-style questions while clarifying essential concepts and strategies.

• Aid students in developing systematic approaches to topics such as number theory, algebra, counting, probability, and geometry.

• Empower students to build confidence and effective strategies for test-taking.

• Offer prompt feedback and tailored guidance to enhance student comprehension and ongoing progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher; candidates with majors in Math, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines are preferred.

• Prior experience in math competitions or relevant teaching/tutoring experience in competitive environments is strongly preferred.

• A solid foundation in mathematics; familiarity with competitions like AMC, AIME, or MathCounts is advantageous.

• Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends.

• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is an asset.
