Working Student / Intern – Legal Operations & Legal Tech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as the liaison between Management, Legal, Product, and Engineering teams.

• Assist in managing the creator subscription model, encompassing sign-ups, renewals, upgrades/downgrades, cancellations, payment processing, and invoicing.

• Evaluate and uphold legal standards for creator subscriptions, platform fees, and paid features.

• Aid in the drafting and updating of Terms and Conditions for creators/event organizers and ticket purchasers.

• Support Louco’s ticketing operations, which include Stripe Connect, service/booking fees, payments, refunds, event cancellations, and chargebacks.

• Facilitate compliance with data protection, consumer protection, and e-commerce regulations.

• Coordinate unresolved inquiries with external legal counsel and tax advisors.

• Convert approved legal standards into Jira tickets, product specifications, and acceptance criteria.

• Transfer requirements to and collaborate with the Development team.

• Oversee the implementation process across the app, website, Creator Dashboard, checkout, subscription flow, ticketing, invoices, and emails.

• Perform Legal & Compliance Quality Assurance before releases and monitor outstanding issues until final implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in business law, law, Legal Tech, or a related field.

• Keen interest in IT law, e-commerce, SaaS/subscriptions, platform law, data protection, and payment systems.

• Strong enthusiasm for apps, digital business models, and software products.

• Capability to translate legal requirements into clear, actionable tasks.

• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

• Enjoyment in collaborating with developers and Product teams.

• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.

• Experience with Jira, Stripe, subscription/payment models, or Legal Tech is advantageous.
