This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee daily legal operations for a designated client group.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage intricate NDAs and related transaction documents in the realms of private equity, M&A, and financing transactions.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex legal, commercial, client, counterparty, or workflow challenges.
• Supervise and evaluate the work of junior, specialist, and senior team members.
• Lead, approve, review, and enhance client playbooks, templates, and precedents.
• Act as the primary account lead and responsible individual for assigned clients.
• Maintain availability for clients; conduct check-ins, negotiation calls, and quarterly business reviews.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address retention and renewal risks.
• Manage client complaints and ensure resolution.
• Assist in customer outreach and account expansion alongside the Account Manager.
• Offer coaching, feedback, mentorship, and targeted training.
• Assess capacity, workload distribution, SLA performance, and service quality.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing, onboarding, performance evaluations, and progression discussions.
• Enhance service delivery, legal technology usage, workflow design, and scalability of managed services.
• Promote effective utilization of proprietary AI tools within the client group.
• Ensure technology-assisted work is reviewed, validated, and aligned with client-approved positions.
• Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams for platform improvement.
• Operate within an AI-native legal delivery model that integrates legal expertise with technology.
• Must be a qualified U.S. Attorney.
• Minimum of 3 years PQE.
• Law degree (LLB or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating essential transactional or commercial documents, including confidentiality agreements, engagement letters, and release letters.
• Proven client-facing experience, including direct management of client relationships, client calls, and resolving client issues or complaints.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or indirectly managing legal team members and reviewing their work products.
• A genuine blend of legal and commercial acumen.
• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to consistently high-quality work.
• Preferred: experience with private equity, asset management, hedge fund, or other alternative asset management clients.
• Preferred: experience in account management or customer success, including monitoring account health and conducting QBRs.
• Preferred: background in legal tech, law firms, ALSPs, Big 4 legal teams, or in-house legal departments.
• Preferred: familiarity with structured playbooks or standardized legal frameworks.
• Preferred: experience in a venture-backed technology scale-up environment.
