Specialist Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Offer legal guidance and counsel in civil, labor, and corporate law.

• Address disputes and implement alternative methods for problem resolution.

• Provide legal assistance in general practice and debt recovery matters.

• Review and draft various contracts.

• Represent clients in both judicial and administrative proceedings.

• Mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Assist in making pivotal decisions based on specialized expertise.

• Create effective, tailored legal solutions.

• Oversee and manage clients' portfolios in judicial and administrative cases.

• Supervise the review and development of court submissions and legal documents.

• Generate procedural and contingency reports utilizing the firm’s proprietary system.

• Draft and finalize highly intricate legal instruments.

• Evaluate risks, conduct assessments, and propose legal alternatives.

• Plan and develop legal activities pertaining to civil, criminal, social security, and corporate law.

• Prepare legal studies and opinions, incorporating interrelated legal analyses and doctrinal research.

• Formulate litigation strategies and perform investigative analyses of judgment debtors’ assets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Postgraduate degree or specialization in fields such as Business Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law.

• Additional qualifications in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, and Labor Law are advantageous.

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in general practice and debt recovery.

• Proficient knowledge of Civil, Contract, Business, and Civil Procedural Law, as well as Labor Procedure and Labor Law.

• Proven experience in managing complex civil, labor, and administrative proceedings.

• Familiarity with civil and procedural law.

• Skills in legal research.

• Competence in legal drafting and preparing court submissions.

• Strong deadline and case management abilities.

• Negotiation skills.

• Adherence to professional ethics.
