Working Student – Full-Stack Developer, Next.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create new features for the CBAM web platform and enhance current functionalities.

• Assist in developing a platform for calculating emissions across the supply chain.

• Utilize Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS in your work.

• Implement both frontend and backend functionalities in close cooperation with the development team.

• Help structure code, components, and data models effectively.

• Gain valuable experience with software development processes, including code reviews and version control.

• Commit to working approximately 20 hours per week while balancing studies.

• Make direct contributions to production features of the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Some experience in web development is preferred, particularly with Next.js and TypeScript, or a strong willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies.

• Ability to work independently, methodically, and with reliability.

• Highly motivated, inquisitive, and eager to engage with production software systems.

• Capable of clearly communicating technical subjects and enjoying teamwork.

• Familiarity with TailwindCSS is a plus.

• Experience with Drizzle ORM / SQLite is a plus.

• Knowledge of Next.js authentication methods, such as NextAuth or similar, is a plus.

• Basic understanding of IT security principles, including OWASP Top 10, secure authentication flows, and API security, is a plus.

• Experience with Git, code reviews, or modern development workflows is a plus.
