Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive full-stack features that include responsive UI components, backend services, APIs, and database schemas.

• Take ownership of features from initial technical design and estimation through to implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

• Create and implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs with a focus on scalability, versioning, and query performance.

• Write efficient database queries and create normalized schemas; assist with indexing and query optimization.

• Develop and manage third-party integrations and APIs, including OAuth2/SSO authentication flows and webhook-based event handling.

• Create unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; sustain automated test coverage and engage in code reviews.

• Contribute to architectural decisions concerning service boundaries, caching strategies, and data flow.

• Enhance application performance through profiling, load testing, and optimizing queries/caching.

• Monitor and instrument services using logging, metrics, and tracing tools; troubleshoot and resolve incidents in production.

• Support improvements in CI/CD, infrastructure as code initiatives, and deployment automation.

• Implement secure coding practices, including input validation, encryption, and managing dependencies/vulnerabilities.

• Engage in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in full-stack development.

• Strong expertise in Angular and TypeScript/JavaScript, encompassing component architecture and state management.

• Significant backend experience with the Spring Framework in building production services.

• Practical experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs; familiarity with API versioning and documentation.

• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), including schema design and query optimization, and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, covering core compute, storage, and networking services.

• Proficient with Git, code review processes, and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.

• Experience in writing automated tests using Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Strong understanding of web application security best practices, including OWASP Top 10, authentication/authorization, and encryption.

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and fundamental system design concepts.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.

• Nice to have: Experience in GraphQL schema design and resolvers.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures, Kafka, SQS, and RabbitMQ.

• Nice to have: Experience with Datadog, Grafana, ELK, and OpenTelemetry.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with e-signature or document workflow tools and their APIs.
