This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Evaluate complex or technically challenging California workers' compensation claims to ascertain the benefits owed.
β’ Handle high-exposure claims that involve litigation and rehabilitation processes.
β’ Maintain the ongoing adjudication of claims in accordance with service expectations, industry best practices, and specific client service demands.
β’ Recognize opportunities for subrogation of claims and engage in settlement negotiations.
β’ A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
β’ A minimum of four (4) years of experience in workers' compensation claims management or a suitable combination of education and experience is required.
β’ Knowledge of California jurisdiction is essential; a SIP certification is required or must be obtained within one year from the hire date.
