Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner – CA WC Experience Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Evaluate complex or technically challenging California workers' compensation claims to ascertain the benefits owed.

• Handle high-exposure claims that involve litigation and rehabilitation processes.

• Maintain the ongoing adjudication of claims in accordance with service expectations, industry best practices, and specific client service demands.

• Recognize opportunities for subrogation of claims and engage in settlement negotiations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in workers' compensation claims management or a suitable combination of education and experience is required.

• Knowledge of California jurisdiction is essential; a SIP certification is required or must be obtained within one year from the hire date.
