This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual and in-person investigations at the residences of policyholders.

• Evaluate property damage, establish liability, assess losses, and negotiate equitable settlements.

• Utilize claims management software, a company vehicle, and a laptop to assess damage and create paperless estimates.

• Identify and report potential subrogation opportunities.

• Notify relevant state and industry agencies about incidents involving theft, fraud, or arson.

• Work autonomously with responsibilities that significantly influence management outcomes.

• Represent the company in a professional manner during public engagements.

• Interact with policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, contractors, law enforcement, fraud and arson investigators, attorneys, and medical professionals.

• Negotiate settlements with policyholders regarding claims.

• Advocate for safety and adhere to safety and ergonomic protocols.

• Travel away from home for catastrophe assignments, typically lasting 2 to 3 weeks.


⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Strong customer service experience is essential, preferably in a retail context.

• Experience in construction or insurance is highly preferred.

• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in computer applications: MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with smartphones and various applications.

• A desire to learn about insurance policies and property damage.

• A valid driver's license and bondable status are required.

• Final candidates will undergo a Motor Vehicle Record background check.

• Must be physically capable of climbing ladders and working on rooftops multiple times daily.

• Must be willing and able to work in small, confined spaces, including attics and crawlspaces.

• Must achieve a minimum passing score on all claims training examinations.

• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English is required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Willingness to commit to 1–3 catastrophe deployments annually.

• Candidates must reside within the Dallas, Grand Prairie, or Mesquite, Texas area.
