Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster – NY Jurisdictional Knowledge, NY Licensing Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Evaluate Lost-Time claims related to New York Workers Compensation on behalf of our esteemed clients to ascertain the benefits owed.

• Maintain the ongoing adjudication of claims in accordance with service expectations and industry best practices.

• Conduct investigations and collect information to assess exposure on the claims.

• Negotiate the settlement of claims within the approved authority limits.

• Keep the claimant and client informed about claim activities and processing.

• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests for direction in a timely and professional manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in New York Workers Compensation claims management or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Knowledge of jurisdiction: New York.

• Licensing: New York.
