Workday Project Manager – HRIS, Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of Workday implementation projects, from initiation and stakeholder engagement to testing coordination, go-live, and post-launch support.

• Facilitate project governance for clients, which includes conducting status meetings, steering committees, managing risks and issues, resolving escalations, and providing executive updates.

• Manage internal delivery teams across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and quality of deliverables are maintained within a matrix environment.

• Assist in proposals and pre-sales efforts by developing project plans, presenting to potential clients, and refining delivery methodologies.

• Create reusable tools, project templates, and standards to enhance INNOOVA’s delivery practices across various platforms.

• Mentor teams, proactively identify risks, and ensure alignment between clients and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering HRIS or IT projects from start to finish within a consulting framework, managing various clients, cultures, and stakeholder environments simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills in both French and English, applied according to client requirements.

• Comprehensive understanding of the project delivery lifecycle stages: mobilization, planning, design, construction, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.

• Experience in managing project plans, schedules, and risk logs across multiple concurrent initiatives.

• Functional knowledge of the technical landscape; prior experience configuring HRIS systems is not mandatory.

• Legally authorized to work in Canada: either a citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid work permit.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements.

• Proven ability to be flexible and adapt in a rapidly growing environment.

• PMP/PMI certification is advantageous.

• Workday Engagement Manager certification is a plus and may be supported by INNOOVA for suitable candidates.
