Workday Prism Analytics, Reporting Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and set up comprehensive Workday Prism pipelines from start to finish

• Manage data ingestion from external sources, enterprise data lakes, and legacy databases through API or secure SFTP connections

• Develop intricate data transformations within Prism Data Change Tasks utilizing joins, unions, group-by aggregation filters, and calculated column rules

• Generate sophisticated Matrix, Composite, Trend, and Search reports using the native Workday Report Writer tools

• Create secure Report-as-a-Service (RaaS) endpoints for downstream enterprise business intelligence visualization frameworks

• Establish row-level Prism security policies, conditional distribution permissions, and field-level masking protocols

• Design executive dashboards and Discovery Boards featuring interactive charting matrices, operational metrics grids, and performance tracking interfaces

• Oversee ingestion job sequences and processing logs

• Review system processing latencies and identify transformation calculation bottlenecks

• Enhance performance for high-volume dataset runs

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of experience in core business intelligence engineering or data warehousing

• Minimum of 4 years actively engaged in designing, constructing, and sustaining analytics configurations specifically on the Workday platform

• At least 4 years of focused experience in developing advanced reporting structures within Workday

• A minimum of 2 years specializing in Workday Prism Analytics implementations

• Required certification in Workday Certified Prism Analytics or Workday Certified Advanced Reporting

• Strong technical proficiency in Workday Calculated Fields

• Experience in managing Prism Data Catalog

• Foundational knowledge of complex SQL querying

• Familiarity with relational data modeling schemas

• In-depth understanding of workforce analytics

• Knowledge of key metrics related to financial performance

• Awareness of data pipeline scheduling constraints

• Understanding of multi-tenant security frameworks

• Workday Certified Core HCM or Workday Certified Financials Core certification is preferred

• Previous experience in implementing predictive analytics extensions or using calculated insights with enterprise generative AI tools is preferred
