Online Teacher, IG Physics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and deliver captivating, high-quality live IG Physics lessons customized to meet the unique needs of each student.

• Instruct on Physics topics such as mechanics, forces and motion, electricity, waves, energy, thermal physics, magnetism, and atomic physics.

• Enhance students' scientific reasoning, mathematical problem-solving skills, and practical application of Physics principles.

• Implement teaching strategies and digital resources to foster an interactive and supportive online learning atmosphere.

• Evaluate student progress, offer focused feedback, and modify teaching methods accordingly.

• Prepare students for IG Physics exams and assessments, including exam techniques and building confidence in applying concepts.

• Organize and communicate course schedules, lesson content, and assessment timelines effectively.

• Assign homework and develop, administer assessments.

• Create educational materials and contribute to CGA learning resources.

• Maintain a professional and well-structured online classroom and learning space.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of teaching experience in a school environment; tutoring experience is not applicable to this requirement.

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Science, Education, or a related discipline.

• Strong command of Physics subject matter.

• Ability to articulate complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and the CGA team.

• Knowledge of online teaching platforms.

• Enthusiasm for innovative, technology-enhanced education.

• Preferred: prior experience teaching IG Physics at the secondary/high school level.

• Preferred: experience with international curricula, particularly Cambridge International or Pearson Edexcel.

• Preferred: comprehensive understanding of IG Physics curriculum requirements, assessments, and examination strategies.

• Preferred: recognized teaching qualification, such as a postgraduate certificate in education, teaching degree, or teaching license.

• Preferred: previous experience in online teaching.
