Workday Functional Consultant – HRMS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver functional support and configuration expertise across Workday HRMS modules.

• Interpret business requirements and convert them into efficient Workday functional solutions.

• Collaborate with HR, IT, business stakeholders, and other functional teams to implement Workday enhancements.

• Execute Workday configuration, testing, validation, and deployment of system modifications.

• Diagnose functional issues and provide timely resolutions for production and business-process-related challenges.

• Evaluate existing business processes and suggest suitable Workday solutions.

• Assist with Workday releases, enhancements, fixes, and change requests.

• Prepare and conduct functional and regression test scenarios.

• Offer guidance, documentation, and training to HR teams and end users as necessary.

• Ensure that Workday configurations and processes comply with relevant data security, privacy, and organizational standards.

• Participate in meetings and provide support in alignment with PST working hours.

• Independently manage multiple priorities in a remote working environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–11 years of overall experience with extensive hands-on experience in Workday HRMS.

• Strong functional knowledge in Workday Advanced Compensation, Workday Compensation, Workday Time Management, and Workday Absence Management.

• Comprehensive understanding of Workday business processes, configuration, and functional troubleshooting.

• Proficient knowledge of Workday reporting and data-related processes.

• Experience in Workday implementation, enhancement, and production support.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.

• Previous experience supporting clients or teams operating within the PST time zone is preferred.

• Immediate availability for joining is mandatory.

• Experience collaborating directly with US-based clients or HR/IT teams.

• Experience in Workday production support and incident resolution.

• Familiarity with Workday release management and system enhancements.

• Experience in requirements gathering, functional documentation, and user acceptance testing.
