This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead implementations of Sage Intacct for multi-unit restaurant and hospitality clients from the discovery phase through to go-live and post-launch stabilization.
• Provide guidance to CFOs, Controllers, and finance leaders by interpreting business objectives into financial system design.
• Manage client communication throughout the delivery process, which includes scope management, setting expectations, and proactive issue escalation.
• Consult with clients following implementation to enhance systems for long-term effectiveness.
• Configure solutions across various areas including GL, multi-entity/intercompany consolidations, AP, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and platform services.
• Develop financial reports, custom dashboards, and unit-level performance insights using the native reporting tools of Sage Intacct.
• Act as a subject matter expert on advanced modules and marketplace solutions relevant to restaurant and hospitality sectors.
• Assist in scoping and creating statements of work for ongoing engagements.
• Lead project teams, ensure quality oversight, and guarantee timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Mentor and guide junior consultants.
• Contribute to internal methodologies, tools, and knowledge sharing.
• Periodically reconnect with existing clients for optimization check-ins, system upgrades, and workflow/process consulting.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Over 5 years of experience in Sage Intacct implementation with proven ownership of full-cycle projects.
• In-depth expertise in Sage Intacct system functionalities, design principles, and industry best practices.
• Experience in designing Chart of Accounts, dimension structures, and reporting systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting standards, general ledger/subledger concepts, financial close processes, and optimization of accounting workflows.
• Strong executive presence and communication abilities appropriate for interactions with CFO peers.
• Demonstrated capability to lead project teams in a player/coach role.
• Proficiency in managing project timelines, quality of work, project scope, and client results.
• Capability to guide project scope discussions and professionally address changes.
• A genuine passion for mentoring others.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of managing time autonomously.
• A positive, customer-service-focused attitude with a commitment to whatever it takes to succeed.
• Strong technological skills with experience in contemporary business SaaS applications and communication tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Box.
• Comfortable with virtual communication and frequent video meetings with clients and team members.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
