Workday Data Conversion Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the timely and successful execution of Workday conversion activities and deliverables throughout the entirety of the project life cycle.

• Concentrate on strategy, scope, risk management, escalations, staffing, and budgetary considerations.

• Ensure compliance with Cloud Deployment Solutions' conversion and reporting methodologies as well as best practices.

• Engage in multiple projects simultaneously.

• Lead discussions with clients regarding data requirements, conversion methodologies, and data validation processes.

• Assess risks and implement preventive strategies.

• Investigate conversion challenges, pinpoint root causes, and apply corrective actions.

• Improve and sustain internal conversion tools; suggest enhancements to address business process inefficiencies.

• Provide training and mentorship to less experienced team members.

• Maintain effective communication with both team members and clients.

• Keep the Project Manager apprised of any project escalations.

• Fulfill required Knowledge Bytes to retain Workday certification.

• Participate in internal training sessions, Workday Wednesdays, and knowledge-sharing activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in the HRIS domain.

• Proficient in translating business requirements into system specifications.

• Familiarity with databases, entity relationships, SQL, and programming.

• Previous consulting experience, either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software firm.

• Preferred experience in data conversions for Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications.

• Proven project management experience.

• Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time.

• Workday HCM Certification is strongly preferred.

• Workday Certification is mandatory for this role; candidates who are not certified must successfully complete the Workday HCM certification and ongoing re-certification.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Must have current and future work authorization in the country of application, without visa sponsorship from Strada.
