Workday Analyst – Cross Application

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Configure, maintain, and improve Workday modules, business processes, security, and associated system functionalities.

• Review and execute updates, releases, patches, and features for Workday modules.

• Enhance Colleague Resources processes by streamlining and automating them through Workday improvements.

• Investigate technical problems, unexpected outcomes, integration errors, and weaknesses in processes.

• Collaborate with HR, Total Rewards, IT, business stakeholders, and vendors to translate requirements into system designs.

• Oversee the configuration, design, maintenance, implementation, specifications, and documentation of Workday and related applications.

• Ensure data integrity through audits, reconciliations, mass data modifications, and process enhancements.

• Confirm that change management documentation, procedures, and controls comply with audit and compliance standards.

• Evaluate new functionalities, coordinate regression testing, and relay system changes to end users.

• Create and sustain custom reports for regular reporting, ad hoc requests, surveys, and audits.

• Analyze HR data to assist in leadership decision-making.

• Coordinate data exchanges with benefits providers and third parties; troubleshoot and support new integrations.

• Work collaboratively with third-party application and technical management vendors.

• Participate in special projects and broader HRIS initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on expertise in Workday configuration and maintenance across applications.

• Familiarity with Workday modules and cross-application processes.

• Strong knowledge of HRIS and systems administration.

• Experience in business process improvement and automation.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues, integration errors, and process weaknesses.

• Background in developing or modifying Workday reports.

• Experience with data audits, reconciliations, and ensuring data integrity.

• Familiarity with testing and release management processes.

• Skills in business analysis and stakeholder collaboration.

• Proficient in project and change management.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively within an international team setting.

• Eight years of HRIS or technical systems experience, including hands-on Workday configuration and support, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong preference for experience supporting Workday across various functional areas.

• Advantageous to have experience working with third-party vendors and international cross-functional teams.

• This role is based in Spain or Portugal.
